These are made from reconstituted stone to a very high standard of quality. Once weathered they are virtually indistinguishable from the real thing.
Improving with age; the weathering process is often considered as having a desirable effect. In fact purchasing one could be considered as an investment.
Weathered planters often attract a premium when sold at auction. In a recent Sotheby’s auction, four charming Plaited Baskets went under the hammer for over £5,000.
