The planters in this section are either directly made from genuine ex-distillery barrels or have been re-coopered from original oak barrel staves. A variety of shapes are available including half-barrels, small whole oak barrels with one open end, strawberry barrels may be planted with trailing plants or strawberries and half-moon planters that can be used against a garden wall or fence. Small oak buckets with thick hessian rope handles make a more unusual planter.

Most are available in two finishes, i.e. a natural or rustic finish and a dark stained ebony finish. The durability of oak means these planters can last for many years without the need for liners etc.
