Rainwater can easily be collected in a water butt and is better for garden plants than tap water. When installed using a drainpipe diverter they require little
maintenance. With the use of a diverter water from a drainpipe is diverted into the butt until it is full. Once it is full any further water is directed down the drainpipe to the ground drain. Using a
combination of products it is possible to collect and store hundreds of gallons of rainwater, which can prove valuable for your garden during dry summer months.

Oak Barrel Water Butts
Made from genuine oak barrels these are available with options including brass taps, cast-iron hand pumps and easy to install drainpipe diverters.
Available in three sizes; 40, 56 and 100-gallons, they can be more aesthetically pleasing than their plastic equivalent.
Large Storage Tanks
Very large plastic butts that allow the storage of hundreds of gallons of water. If these tanks are too large to stand next to your drainpipe then an oak barrel pumping station
can be located at the drainpipe and used to feed water to the storage tank. Available in sizes from 1300 litres (285 gallons) to 10,000 litres (2200 gallons).
3P Rainwater Collection Systems
This expandable system is based on linking together 750 litre or 1500 litre tanks. The tanks have a small, space saving foot print. Options include drainpipe diverters and a pump that can provide rainwater through a pipe or garden hose with
the pressure and flow of mains water.
Underground Rainwater Storage Systems
Rainwater collection, storage and distribution systems are available in a range of capacities. Each system includes underground storage tanks and a water extraction pump, which may be used to feed a hose-pipe.
House Supply Systems
Systems for supplying pressurised, piped rainwater to your house for flushing WC’s, supplying washing machines, washing cars and more. These systems can automatically switch the supply of water from the tank to the mains water intake when the tank is empty
thus maintaining water supply to your non-drinking water system.

Plastic Water Butts
This section contains a range of plastic water butts, including wall mounted versions that are suitable for general garden use.
Rainwater Pumping Stations
These water butts are fitted with a submersible pump operated via a float switch. They collect water from a drainpipe and can be connected via a
drainpipe diverter. When the water level is high the pump automatically switches on and pumps water to an outlet connection point. A hose from this point
can either feed water to a larger storage device, such as a several hundred gallon storage tank, or can be used directly for garden watering.
BHS Underground Tanks
Manufactured from heavy duty polythene and designed to be sunken into the ground for storing rainwater. Rainwater can be collected from a roof area via a drainpipe or ground run-off can be collected from a concrete
surface and directed into the tank.
Potable Water Tanks
Potable water tanks suitable for storing drinking water are available in sizes from 1300 litres (300 gallons) to 275,000 litres (61,000 gallons). They are available in surface standing and underground versions.
Surface Rainwater Harvesting Systems
Available with three large sizes of surface tanks these rainwater harvesting systems include a drainpipe diverter and a water extraction pump with 10m of hosepipe. The pump provides pressurised water to the hose.
Watering Stations
Stations include ready made standpipe posts and sunken chambers that can provide a hidden tap facility in a lawn or border. They are an easy way to establish an outside tap at a point of convenience in your garden reducing the need to lug heavy watering cans around.
