This feature takes its name from the ancient Minoan civilisation of Crete renowned for their art and for their pottery creations. Water is circulated from the bowl upwards through a hole in the large ball at the centre of the feature by a pond pump, which is included. It is unusually coloured in pastel shades.

It is made from Fibrecrete, a composite of a cast stone mix and glass fibre. This reduces the weight of the urn, makes it more robust and gives a finish that will weather naturally over time.
