This self-contained fountain consist of a scalloped block standing on a pedestal. It is manufactured from resin but it has a layer of real powdered granite on the surface giving it the appearance of being a carved, scalloped, granite block. The pedestal has a sunken area in the surface and is hollow inside; the inside conceals a reservoir containing water for circulation through the feature and a submersible pond pump. The pond pump pumps water up through the centre of the block. Emerging at the top it cascades down the scalloped sides of the block and is caught by the recessed area in the top of the pedestal. Water drains from the recessed area to the inside the hollow pedestal returning to the concealed reservoir for re-circulation.
