Pratika pumps are portable and ready to use for installation in traditional wells, water deposits and collection tanks. They are also suitable for small scale irrigation systems. Designed for clean water only they are not suitable for water containing suspended solids or abrasive material. They are constructed from stainless steel with Noryl impellers and diffusers and utilise an NBR lip seal followed by a carbon ceramic seal.

Being submersible these pumps operate beneath the surface of the water. They incorporate a float switch to switch the unit off when the water level becomes low.

These pumps are supplied with 15 metres of power cable, a hose tail, 1” hoses, tank outlet and a cable gland.

Suitable for:

• Extracting water from a water butt or underground tank.
• Moving water between storage tanks.
• Providing medium pressure water via a hose to fill buckets, watering cans.
• Providing medium pressure water to a sprinkler or irrigation system

The pump can be purchased with an optional pump controller, which is supplied complete with fittings. The controller automatically starts and stops the pump as water is required. For example if the pump outlet is connected to a tap or to a garden hose fitted with an on-off nozzle then when the tap / nozzle is closed the controller will automatically stop the pump within 6 to 8 seconds. When the outlet tap is opened the controller will automatically start the pump. The pump’s float switch will also stop the pump if the water level in the tank becomes too low.
